Full Cycle Nutrition
BIO
My path to sports and exercise nutrition has seen me immersed in a variety of industries and roles, giving me a broad perspective and a giant tool box from which to work creatively to help my clients improve their nutrition and sporting pursuits. I have lived experience of food insecurity, disordered eating, depression and anxiety, body dysmorphic disorder, immigration, pregnancy, and parenthood, all of which inform my understanding and empathy of my clients’ own journeys.
I have competed across several sports, including with weight categorisations, both individually and as a member of a team, including in international competition. I currently work in the cycling community with my primary focus being on road and track cycling. My other personal sporting pursuits currently include rowing, weight training, and yoga.
In working with me, my clients receive the support of a non-judgemental practitioner who sees the whole person - their entire context and circumstances - not just the numbers in their assessment. We work together to move in a positive direction, through a process of change, and we enthusiastically celebrate victories of all types and sizes as we build upon successes towards behavioural change (Atkins and Michie, 2015).
I work holistically with my clients to explore nutrition from all angles and help them to unlearn habits that are no longer helpful. I provide support and knowledge so they can focus on creating lasting change.
